At Green Canyon High School, student leadership plays a vital role in shaping our school culture, fostering school spirit, and providing opportunities for students to develop leadership skills. Whether through student government, spirit groups, or class councils, our leaders work hard to create a positive and inclusive environment for all students. Each group has unique responsibilities, from organizing events and representing student voices to promoting school pride and community involvement.

Constitution

We, the administration and students of Green Canyon, establish this constitution in order to provide and establish a representative form of government for the effective administration of school functions, promotion of school activities, development of unity between students and faculty, promotion of a positive learning environment, and creation of a culture that supports the mission statement of the school.

Article I - Organization

Section I - Name and Membership

All registered students of Green Canyon High School shall be a part of the Green Canyon Student Body Association, also known as “The Pack.”

Section II - Mission Statement

The mission statement of Green Canyon High School shall be known by the acronym PACK. The meaning of the acronym is: Purpose, Attitude, Connections, Knowledge.

Section III - Colors

The official school colors of Green Canyon High School shall be Forest Green and Silver with Black and White accents.

Section IV - Mascot/Emblem

The mascot and emblem of Green Canyon High School shall be the wolf and in plural, both wolves and wolfpack. The name of the mascot shall be Alpha.

Section V - School Songs

Green Canyon High School shall have a fight song and a school song to be sung at appropriate school events.

Section VI - Publications

The name of the school Yearbook will be called “The Howl” and there may be a school newspaper produced by students.

Section VII - Theme

The theme of Green Canyon High School will be chosen by the Executive Council each year.
